At Gealize we respect your privacy and we are committed to protecting any personal data you share with us. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over your data.

Data controller

Data we process

• Account data: email address and authentication data handled by Firebase Authentication (Google).
• Usage data: plans, events and packing lists, stored in Cloud Firestore tied to your account and cached locally on your device for offline use.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type and pages visited to detect abuse and improve the site.
• Cookies & advertising: we use strictly necessary cookies and, with your consent, analytics and advertising cookies (Google AdSense, Google Analytics).

Legal bases

We process your data under EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) based on your consent, contract performance (when you create an account) and our legitimate interest in keeping the platform secure.

Retention

We keep account data while your account is active. Aggregated analytics are kept for 24 months. You can request account deletion at any time.

Third-party processors

We do not sell your data. We rely on trusted providers (hosting, analytics, advertising) that process data on our behalf. When a transfer leaves the EU, we require adequate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions).

Google AdSense and advertising

Affiliate links

Gealize participates in affiliate programs with partners such as Booking.com, GetYourGuide, Trainline, Discover Cars, Aviasales, Airalo, Amazon Associates, HeyMondo and Ticketmaster. When you book or buy through one of our links, the partner may share a small commission with us at no extra cost to you.

These partners may set cookies in your browser to attribute the booking to Gealize for a defined window (usually between 24 hours and 30 days). That information stays on your device and is shared only with the partner. We mark affiliate links with a visible icon so you always know when you are following one.

Your rights

• Access, rectify or delete your data.
• Object to processing or request its restriction.
• Request data portability.
• Withdraw consent at any time.
• Lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
